CT/Cone Beam Scanner

A traditional dental X-ray may not capture all of the information we need for specific procedures. Fortunately, with our cone beam CT scanner, we have the ability to create a three-dimensional model of your mouth as well as your jawbone, your sinuses, your facial nerves, and other relevant structures. The more information we have, the easier it is to plan dental implant placement and other advanced treatments as accurately as possible. As an added benefit, the necessary scans can often be completed in less than 30 seconds.

Soft Tissue Laser

For certain treatments, we may be able to use a soft tissue laser in place of a traditional scalpel. This is often the approach we’ll take when treating gum disease. Not only can the laser help get rid of oral bacteria, but it can also precisely remove the damaged portions of the tissue. Soft tissue lasers can keep post-operative bleeding to a minimum; in fact, there normally isn’t a need for sutures once the treatment is complete.

Intraoral Cameras

An intraoral camera is an invaluable tool for evaluating oral health and ensuring that our patients understand what their smiles need. With this device, we can capture images of different parts of your mouth – including areas that would be hard to see normally. By examining these detailed images, we can get a better grasp of the state of your oral health and determine whether there are any problems that need to be addressed.
